FREE BALLPLAYERS COME AND GET YOUR FREE BALLPLAYERS!

December 14th, 2005 @ 12:39:42 AM

Instead of peanuts and beer vendors we have should have people selling major league ball players. The Marlins trimmmed a 45 million payroll down to 13 million by dumping Carlos Delgado, Luis Castillo, Juan Pierre, Paul Lo Duca, Josh Beckett, Mike Lowell, and Guillermo Mota. They obviously did not resign A.J. Burnett, Jeff Conine, Alex Gonzalez, Todd Jones, Antonio Alfonseca, and there is more to come. THIS IS AN EMBARASSMENT TO THE SPORT! MLB should step in and not allow something like this to happen. If your team has a 45 MILLIoN PAYROLL YOU SHOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED to decrease lets say 25% at the most the following year. I UNDERSTAND FINANCIALLY THE MARLINS OWNER IS LOSING MONEY, but thats where MLB SHOULD STEP IN.

ALL THINGS SET ASIDE. THE FLORIDA MARLINS HAVE MIGUEL CABRERA, JEREMY HERMIDIA, RAMIREZ, AND DONTRELLE WILLIS. UMM MAYBE 30 GAMES WE WIN. THEN RELOCATION 2007 ITS A JOKE.

Mckeon goes out with a Win

October 3rd, 2005 @ 12:25:31 PM

Jack McKeon stepped down as head coach Sunday and left with a rallying 10th inning comeback win. The Marlins finished the season with a 2 game win streak. They have alot of offseason moves to make and it is not going to be easy for President Jeffrey Loria to decide where to play with this team. The contract with Dolphins Stadium runs out in 2006 and most fans feel like they might try and pull a quick move out of South Florida.
